snug as a bug

Around the time Vera was born we learned about a parenting style called Attachment Parenting. At first I was fairly skeptical of Dr. Sears and his claims, but I have warmed up to his style over the last six months or so, and I believe that practicing some of its principles has helped me connect better with Vera and solved some of her behavioral issues. We still aren't exactly the poster parents for the AP movement, but we have taken from it some valuable things that really work for our family. One of those things is babywearing, which I have come to enjoy very much with sweet Quinn. He loves to snuggle up and sleep in the Maya Wrap, which has been a huge help to me in trying to mother two small babies. He can be warm and cozy in the sling while I am changing Vera's diaper, making lunch or getting down on the floor to play. And besides making life easier, it's just so very sweet...
