Some friends of ours are trying their hand at urban chicken farming this year. We decided to get our girls together for a little playdate this weekend and now Vera has some fowl pals! They played well together, as these chickens are pretty social and neither Vera nor the chickens seemed to be intimidated or anxious. Maybe we have a future chicken farmer in the family!

Aw, that looks like so much fun. I myself have fond memories of chickens growing up. We used to try to teach them to fly. They never learned, but no lasting harm was done. I still think chickens are particularly adorable, even though people say they are mean and they smell. I'm glad Vera wasn't afraid of them. They are very noble animals. :)
Bugs are organic, too, you know. As is poop and urine and vomit and all the other lovely things we want our children to consume.
Where's your sense of humor Olivia? If you get sassy again I'm going to reveal your true identity to the masses who read this blog!
I have a sense of humor. That was it in the previous post.
I think your humor is lacking.
By the way, I need your address, sometime soon.
