Tropical Illness

We travelled to Pompano Beach, Florida last month for David to work and for the kids and me to enjoy the beach and see my family. Sadly, Vera came down with some unknown illness (don't worry, it wasn't the swine flu!), and felt terrible most of the time. She did have one really great beach day before she got sick. It was so great that I didn't have time to take pictures. The pictures I have convey the reality of the trip, and it's not pretty...

Vera slept pretty much all day for several days, so we saw a lot of the hotel room.

Eventually she was feeling well enough to go sit by the pool, but she wasn't too happy about it.

By the last day she was almost back to her usual self. I think she looks like a model in this one. :)

Luckily, Quinn did not come down with the bug. He enjoyed meeting the Davis side of his family.

My mom, my brother Andrew, and Miss Jessi Lambert also came to meet Mr. Quinn. I will add those pictures as soon as Mom and Jessi send them to me (hint hint).
