Introducing:

Quinn Henry Davis-Boozer.

Born at home on Sunday, December 14, at 1:03 am.
7 pounds 13 ounces, 20.5 inches long.

He was born suddenly, after three days of start and stop early labor, with just four hours of active labor and three minutes of pushing. In the dining room, right under his sister's high chair. Before we finished filling the birth tub. Without a name.

Vera, who slept through the whole thing, met her brother the next morning. We've been priming her for months by teaching her to love babies more than anything else, so she knew just what to do with him.

What an AMAZING story. We're so proud of you. And only slightly disappointed he's not named Miles Davis-Boozer... :) You are using all the best letters of the alphabet! (Next I want a child that starts with X or Z.)

The perfect Christmas present.

Kisses to all. Vera's going to be the best big sister.
